Outreach to internationals in Örebro

Meeting church leaders with a vision in Immanuel Church, Örebro, Sweden

Örebro is a mid-size city in the heart of Sweden, located strategically at a junction of different historical roads. 

Senior pastor Johan (pictured right) got in touch with me and asked if I would be willing to come and talk to them about a potential partnership with Serve Globally and to share from my experience in international ministry. He and his leadership team at Immanuel Church in Örebro have a vision to reach out to internationals in their city by starting a church service in English.

It was a joy to meet with them and hear their passion for opening their church to welcome new people from different backgrounds and cultures. It’s encouraging to be with Christian leaders who are listening into new opportunities to serve and love their neighbors. This is a church with vision and many resources. We can pray that their initiative to start an English language church service will plant seeds for a growing ministry.
