Campus Ministry in Stockholm
Here in Stockholm God has opened doors for me to partner with Credo, a Swedish Christian student organization that equips student leaders to share the Gospel and build Christian community on university and high school campuses around Sweden. I was invited by the leadership to mentor student leaders who are each leading small group ministries in four of the major universities in Stockholm. This has been a great joy.
At the end of January we gathered for a time of worship, bible study and sharing experiences in leadership. It was exciting to see the joy and commitment in this group as they encourage each other in their faith and share the love of Christ on their campuses. Mentoring and working with students and young professionals has always been close to my heart and I am thankful for an opportunity to serve in this way.
As I was praying for these students an image of Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed came to my mind. Each of these small groups are tiny compared with the student populations on campus. But they are planted there, faithfully meeting and praying that God will use them to bless and make known the love of Christ to more students.
Please join me in praying that God will encourage these ‘mustard seeds’ and continue to strengthen and grow their faith so that more students will find shade, refuge and hope in Christ.
