North Park University study visit

It was a joy to welcome a group from North Park University to our home in the beginning of March. Each term North Park offers students a global learning experience to several places around the world. I was delighted that campus pastors Pete Anderson and Terence Gadsden chose to bring three students to Sweden through Serve Globally’s global engagement program. Mario Marquez, who is a pastor and Merge coach in Sweden, guided the group to engage with a wide variety of ministry experiences in Stockholm, Jonkoping and Norrkoping.

I am excited to see a growing interest for learning in the European context. This summer we will host an intern who will spend two months learning from churches in three areas of Sweden.

In 2027 we are planning on hosting an intern from North Park Seminary who is looking at a combined experience in Spain and Sweden.

Pray for these students as they are seeking to grow and learn from the global church. Pray for logistics and the churches that plan to host our interns that host and intern may experience a mutual blessing as they serve together.
