Pioneer and Revitalization Group in Stockholm

For the past two years I have been a member of the Pioneer and Revitalization group for the Stockholm Region of the Uniting Church in Sweden. The group is led by Per Westblom, who is head of church planting in the region, and Anders Jonaker who heads up revitalization efforts and includes six pastors from the Stockholm region who bring a diversity of pastoral experience and ministry context to the group. It is always a joy to gather with this group to pray, share and discern how God may be leading in new church plants and renewal initiatives in the region.

Pray for the leaders and pastors of the PUR group- for God’s provision and inspiration in their local ministries and for us who serve as contributors to be an encouragement to the denominational leaders with our input and prayers.

Pray for me as I am invited to share at the next session.

Praise God for three church plants initiatives that are active in the Stockholm region and for the pastors stepping out in faith to nurture them.
